Craving some hot broth on an unusually cold evening in SF we ventured out to warm up with some comforting noodle soup. We were able to get a seat right away, the inside is unassuming with standard tables and chairs and a few Vietnamese decorations on the walls. The server took our order after a few minutes and not long after- our food arrived piping hot. Very quick service. We got the curry chicken vermicelli soup, the curry chicken with coconut sauce rice plate, and imperial rolls and five spice chicken rolls as apps. Good big portions, the soup bowl looked big enough to serve two- and the rice plate also, the chicken rolls tasted fresh and great curry flavors in the broth and curry chicken- just what we needed to warm up. We ended up having leftovers to take home (reheated the next day and was just as good, if not better) Having recently got back from a trip to Vietnam, this place is really comparable to the food we ate there with the flavor and freshness. And it won't break the bank either for a cheap dinner in the city.

All I can say is, this pho place is a go-to for my whole family whenever we're in the area. The satay pho here is the biggest star of the show. Imagine pho with a pleasant twist from Cajun influences. Yum. The 5-spice chicken is also bomb as well as the imperial rolls which have the best filling and are always hot and crunchy! One of the best pho places in the Bay for sure!! Service is always pretty fast and they all speak Cantonese too!

We were in the mood for some noodles and some soup so I decided to hit up PPQ for pho. The 5 spice chicken vermicelli was delicious and the portions were very generous. The chicken was cooked deliciously because it was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The fish sauce over the vermicelli is just awesome, every bite is so flavorful and the pickled carrots is a nice touch. The pho was just what we needed. It was flavorful and light, the noodles were cooked to perfect tenderness. The one thing I am bummed out is that it came with a lemon instead of a lime. It's not a huge deal but it does make a big difference in the aromatics and flavor of the soup!

Great spot for a low key casual meal! I came here for dinner on a Sunday at 7pm with a group of 6 and they weren't busy. We were served our food pretty quickly after ordering. I got the #2 Pho with rare flank steak, tendon and another kind of meat. I got a medium and it was pretty big. It came with the usual pho accompaniments - a plate of basil, bean sprouts, and a lime. The soup was great, it hit the spot for my pho craving!
